Happy 50th Anniversary Greenie & Judy!

The RAGBRAI Staff and Crew wish former RAGBRAI Director Jim Green and his lovely wife, Judy, a Happy 50th Anniversary!
Greenie has been involved in some capacity with RAGBRAI since the early years and served as RAGBRAI Director for 14 years before retiring in 2004. Although officially “retired” Greenie still works with the RAGBRAI Crew and assists as a mentor with the Dream Team. Judy has worked the RAGBRAI Information & Merchandise trailers during RAGBRAI for close to 30 years. You can always find Judy in the main campgrounds during the week.

Congrats Judy & Jim… Just a short post-it-note to you both… Sue & I feel honored to have known you both for many years, and now to be working along side of you both as a part of the RAGBRAI family. Looking forward to many more years of friendship… we have already picked up one of Greenie’s “gifts” — knowing how to find a Dairy Queen no matter where we happen to be.

Ma Green is a hell-of-a-woman putting up with you for 50-years. Thank you both for all of your volunteer hours on RAGBRAI and other volunteer events. Your efforts allow the rest of us to enjoy the ride, year after year. And thanks Ma Green for watching over our girls when you were at Dowling. Congratulations to both of you.
