  1. Eastern Iowan says:

Neil, you think our morality is for sale?

  2. Bellevue says:

We are not an overnight town. We are just a town that gets clogged up as people scramble to go home. 1000′s are not spent here and people do shower on the street and send the suds right into the Mississippi. There is a law against sending greywater into the storm drains. And we have open container laws too. But if “Neil” thinks the law is for sale then he’ll fit right in on RagBrAI. Hopefully RAGBRAI will start to get environmentally friendly. And I agree, we don’t want them in our community either. Don’t listen to our mayor, we don’t.

The people of Northern are cold, just like the weather there. Doesn’t surprise me at the responses I’m reading. I had the misfortune to live up there for a short 10 months, which felt like an eternity. We were “outsiders” and treated as such. Three of my adult children RAGBRAI and I hope the northern route doesn’t prevent them from participating in future rides.

  4. Cylvr says:

Welcome to Clear Lake. We are excited to show-off our hometown and all that it has to offer. Dust off those pedals and start training!

  5. Sheri says:

Trying to find route with ALL little towns listed for 2005 ride. We want to ride it on our Harley Labor Day weekend. We already have rooms rented in Guttenberg and now I can’t find a complete route. All I keep coming up with is the overnight stays. Can anyone help in a hurry? Please!?!!
