The Charles City RAGBRAI committee announced an entertainment line-up that is sure to please crowds of all ages when the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa visits America’s Hometown on July 28.

ARTCRANK Des Moines will be held at the Instinct Gallery in the Des Moines Social Club opening on Saturday, May 8 and closing on Saturday, May 29.
Well, spring is finally here in all parts of northern hemisphere, so no more excuses. It is time to get out and ride. Hopefully many of you have already been on your bikes getting your body ready for RAGBRAI. This blog is focused on your cadence, or how fast your legs go around while pedaling.
The 70’s might have given the world musical masterpieces such as “Disco Duck” and “The Streak”, but we are guessing RAGBRAI riders will be grooving to some of the real classics as the Vic Ferrari Band headlines the downtown entertainment in Algona.
Hand signals are not only the most efficient form of communication while biking; they are also the most important way of ensuring safety among yourself and others on the who are on the road.
RAGBRAI reps will be on-hand to chat with area cyclists. A tremendous number of Minnesota cyclists head south each year to ride RAGBRAI each summer. Be sure to stop by the RAGBRAI booth to say hello to T.J. and Wes.
National recording artists SMASHMOUTH will get RAGBRAI off to a rocking start when the event begins its 38th ride out of host community Sioux City on July 24th.
The 23rd Mayor's Annual Ride for Trails is set for Saturday, April 17, 2010. The ride is presented by the City of Des Moines and The Des Moines Register. The ride begins at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall, 400 Robert D. Ray Drive.
