RAGBRAI Lottery & Updates

RAGBRAI Lottery Results, May 1

If you registered as a weeklong rider and your waiver and payment were processed, you are included in the lottery.  There are three ways to find out if you were accepted for the ride.

  1. You will receive an email with your wristband number.
  2. You can log-on to the registration site with your username and password.  Beginning May 1
  3. You can use the “Lottery Look-up” and enter your name and date of birth (must be the same as on your registration)  Beginning May 1.

The group contact can print a list of group members with corresponding wristband numbers.  Just log-on to the group home page and click on “Print Summary” next to “Group Closed” at the top of the group summary page.

Wristband Packets will be sent in June

The wristband and jersey packets will ship via UPS in June. The packets will be mailed to the address listed on your profile.  If you have any address changes, email us at info@ragbrai.org before June 1 so that we can send your packet to the correct address.

If you are in a group, your wristband and jersey packet will be sent to the group contact.

Transfers

If you purchase wristbands from another person, the transfer of money and wristbands is between the two parties involved.  RAGBRAI is not responsible.  The wristband packet will be sent to the original party in June.  The new owner will need to complete a transfer application and waiver to complete the transfer process.  The transfer application and waiver will be on our Web site after June 1.

Refunds

You can request a refund by emailing us at info@ragbrai.org.  There is a $25 per person processing fee for refunds.  The deadline for requesting a refund is June 1.  Registrations are non-refundable after June 1.

Day Wristbands

The weeklong rider registration is closed and sold out.  You can still register online for day wristbands until June 15.  They are $25 per day and you will receive a different wristband for each day that you select.  They are sold on a first-come first-served basis.  There are step-by-step instructions for online registration on our registration page that will answer all of your questions.

Housing

You can contact the housing committees in the overnight towns to request housing in their town after May 1.  They will ask for a $3 processing fee for applications.  It is not on a first-come first-served basis and the towns will try to match as many riders with host families as they can.  You will need your wristband number when submitting your housing request.  This is a reminder that RAGBRAI is a camping event and camping is free in our campgrounds for registered riders.
