Whoever correctly chooses the most overnight towns in order will receive a certificate worth $100 of RAGBRAI merchandise. The second place winner will receive a certificate worth $80 of merchandise, and a third place winner will receive a certificate worth $60 of merchandise. Certificates must be redeemed by July 28, 2012.

  4. FTW says:

Akron, Sheldon, Laurens, Clarion, Mason City, Waverly, Fayette, McGregor. Some long shots there, but I think the ride needs to stay north. The NE corner has been very neglected, and it is a beautiful part of the state. Good luck to everyone!

  5. Eddy says:

Here’ a W.A.G. Onawa, Lake View, Guthrie Center, Des Moines, Pella, Centerville, Keosauqua, Keokuk

  6. Doug Williams says:

Northwest by Southeast… I’d love to ride corner to corner, Sioux Center, Cherokee, Rockwell City, Story City, Marshalltown, Pella, Fairfield and Fort Madison. Plus these great towns are over due!

    Isn’t 2012 a southern route?

  8. Avatar of keithham keithham says:

I did 2008 and 2010. Back for 2012. Like to see a hilly southern route. Shenandoah, Corning, Mt Ayr, Murray, Cordyn, Albia, Keosauqua, Keokuk.

  9. JohnO says:

I am hoping for a more flat Northern route this year that is family friendly to my kids!

  10. The Kernel says:

Souix Center-Spencer-Algora-Popejoy-Charles City-Waterloo-West Union-Dubuque. This way the politicians will have to drive North to join in. We get to visit the big and small. Great family route. Fast. Goes along with Return to Dubuque.
