Is the route announcement party going to be streamed online so those of us who can’t make it to Iowa can get in on it?

Yes Tom. The Route Announcement will be livestreamed again for those who are not able to attend the evening’s festivities.

I do agree with all the ideas you have introduced for your post. They are very convincing and will certainly work. Still, the posts are too quick for newbies. May just you please prolong them a bit from next time? Thank you for the post.

I don’t ride the RAGBRAI. I am the one who supports my wife in her efforts. We will not participate this year because one of the founders, Donald Kaul, who is a columnist with the Des Moines Register, has advocated violence against our duly elected Congressional members unless they repeal the 2nd Amendment, outlaw the NRA, and confiscate all weapons.
He has a right to his opinion. And the paper has the right to publish his screed. His threats toward elected officials, however, is seditious. The paper’s willingness to publish this violent intent is irresponsible.
I hope that the next time someone of his ilk needs defense from a violent miscreant, the cops are at least an hour away.
