Scott Garner Joins RAGBRAI Staff

We welcome Scott Garner to the RAGBRAI staff as the new Assistant RAGBRAI Director.  Although he is new to the RAGBRAI staff, he certainly is not new to RAGBRAI.  He has ridden over a dozen RAGBRAIs and served on the Dream Team Leadership Team.

Scott has spent the last 12 years working as a Business Analyst, most recently at ARAG (pronounced: AHR-ahg), a provider of Legal Insurance.  He worked on several projects including implementation of a new policy administration system that supports their new individual line of business.  In addition to his project work, Scott also supported their call center applications and plan member web site.

In his spare time, Scott has volunteered as a mentor for the Dream Team.  For several years, Scott has served as lead mentor for the team, coordinating rider and mentor recruiting, training activities, and all the logistics involved with participating in RAGBRAI with the team.  Scott has a passion for cycling and working with youth, and his involvement with the Dream Team has served that passion well.

An avid Husker fan, Scott is originally from Nebraska.  He is married with two teenage boys at home, and three adult daughters living in Wisconsin.

Please welcome Scott to the RAGBRAI staff!
