Comment back to Scott about pacelines … when is it ever safe to have a fast-paced pace line in a crowd of 10,000+? You’re endangering the rest of us when you deem it safe to go faster and there is always someone riding back against the crowd to contend with. I really object to the pace lines … some of whom are quite rude in their shouts for slower riders to get out of their way because they want to ride faster.
