Ride Your Bike and Win the National Bicycle Challenge!

Contest begins May 1.  Sign up at www.iowagoesbybicycle.com

We Iowans have set our sights on winning the National Bicycle Challenge.  Last year Vermont, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Colorado dominated the contest, but Iowa stayed steady in the top 10 states.  This year, the state with the longest, oldest, largest cross state bike ride is serious and we want to win. The contest runs from May 1 – September 30, so yes your RAGBRAI miles WILL count!

All you have to do is register, ride your bicycle, and log your miles.  It couldn’t be easier, because they have partnered with Endomondo and created an online tool and mobile app.

Would you like to input your routes and times manually?  Yes, we have that!
Would you like to use your smartphone and gps?  Yes, we have that!
Would you like to let your social media friends know that you had a great ride?  We can do that!
Would you like to have a team that challenges you to ride more?  We have that.
Would you like to know how your workplace or community stacks up?

All of this and more is available at www.iowagoesbybicycle.com!

Help Iowa WIN!

We will be recognizing the top workplaces and communities that participate.  Get out there and ride!
