GranGABLE Fondo: Early-bird Deadline is July 1

Don’t delay, register today at http://www.grangable.com.  Prices go up July 1 (that is Monday)!

The granGABLE Fondo powered by Scheels is a mass-participation cycling event that combines All that is Hawkeye with good health, exercise, and a commitment to excellence. Nobody embodies this more than legendary athlete and coach, Dan Gable. Through an incredible partnership between Coach Gable, the Iowa City/Coralville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Iowa Bicycle Coalition and RAGBRAI.  We are very excited to present you with the most exciting fondo yet!

Join us for the first annual granGABLE as we pedal through scenic Johnson and Iowa Counties on Sunday, September 1, 2013.

Ride with cyclists from all over the Hawkeye state (and beyond) during the weekend of FRY Fest and the first University of Iowa home football game. Choose to ride either 25 miles, 60 miles, or challenge yourself by training like Gable and riding 100 miles! All century finishers will earn the exclusive and highly sought after granGABLE completion medal. So get registered, get training, and pedal for the medal.

Join us after the ride for a post-party at the Iowa River Landing to celebrate your accomplishments. Relax with live music, food, and drinks. Hang out with friends, family, and fellow finishers at this special event commemorating your accomplishment.

All proceeds from the granGABLE fondo will benefit the Iowa Bicycle Coalition and Hawkeye Wrestling Club.
