I am planning to ride Ragbrai for the first time this year, so I am a greenhorn. I have a team of 16 that are planning to ride, and five support staff. For registration on Friday I understand our chances are better if we register as a team. I am the team leader, so do I need to register everyone on my team, or do they each do that as individuals? I understand you only want me to pay for the team…when is that payment due? Friday?

Thanks for your help!

If you establish a team and register as such, if anyone on the team is selected on the lottery, everyone is! This greatly increases you chances of being chosen.

Dont have to send in the money till spring. April I think. but get started now. So you know who is in and who out for your team

Register yourself as a team. If you have a common team name, check to make sure it isn’t already spoken for. Each member of your team then registers under your team name. Group payment has to be received by April 1st. You can also register under your team for support vehicle passes and driver’s passes. Papa T is correct with regards to if one of your team is selected in the lottery, then the entire team is in.
