We are a first time mother and daughter team from NH. We are concerned with the large number of riders that there will not be adequate bathroom/ shower facilites available at the end of the day. We will have a sag van- are there inns or motels that are located at the lay over towns-or is that not feasible?

This will be my 10 th straight RAGBRAI. I grew up in Ft
Dodge and have moved out of state, but love coming back for RAGBRAI.
This being an election year i'm sure there will be a lot of free water along the route. My concern is the amount of empty bottles that are thrown along the road. My suggestion is a large cattle waterer that we can throw the empties in while riding by, and the people giving the water away be responsible to clean it up. How do others feel about this?
