Can anyone help out a wounded soldier???
My brother received 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 27% of his body 6 years ago. After multiple surgeries he is back in physical shape and looking forward to RAGBRAI. However, due to the burns he cannot regulate body temperature as most of us can. He needs the ability to cool off after being in heat (which is somewhat restricted). Thus the problem.
Our team has been rejected for host housing in Anamosa. We need a place with AC and are looking for any help we can get. Any suggestions?

How many in your team? Would it be OK for just your brother to sleep inside? I think my host has a fairly full house so that is why I am asking before I ask my host.

Contact the local VFW or AMVETS and tell them what you need . Maybe rthey will have a member that can help out your team .

Gas – great idea! My brother has reached out to them. However, they are normally supporting the air force team, but it’s worth a shot.
