Hi, Thanks for the offer, but I have a bike in Iowa already.
Have you done the ride before? I’ve been riding from San Jose to Gilroy for training. The temps and elevation gain seem similar to what I will encounter on RAGBRAI. Also, been adding some Tuolumne rides in the mix.

I’m thinking of hauling bike from So Cal I have room for nine bikes. I will box them up and assemble them in Iowa and box them back up and bring them back. Depending on how many bikes I may be able to take some bags.

OK who is flying from So Cal. If I get some bikes I can go. $150 I will take your bike there and bring it back and you don’t have to box it or put it together and best you don’t have to pay the airlines and hassle of getting it to the airport.

Five Northern Californians are riding this year as the San Francisco Beats (in this case, Beat refers to the 50s-era poets and how tired we are at the end of the day). You can find us at the Pork Belly campsite wearing t-shirts bearing the image of the cover of Kerouac’s On the Road, and, believe it or not, berets that fit over our helmets. We’re hoping to meet up along the route with the next decade’s (and better-named) counter-cultural team, the Merry Cranksters.
