Paul where’s the American hospitality we are hoping to inve$t in-in July?:)
My KY Wildcat brother in law once told me after hearing that 90% of our population live within 100 miles of the border, “Ya’ll are like the tick on the back of the Dawg”.
Just be nice we have a lot of oil and water up here. It might come in handy in the future!
John, didn’t I see on one of your other posts you’re riding with PBV? I am solo with PBV and looking for some endurance cycling Mardi Gras-ers to share the road and a seedy bar or two along the way. There are plenty. Think Calgary Stampede with bikes instead of chuck wagons.
Hey Robo B: My wife and I are coming from Brooklin…we are hitting the road after she gets off shift at the free-health-care-dispensary thursday evening and driving 4 or 5 hours. We will do the rest Friday from possibly Toledo or somewhere like it. We got a hotel friday night a few miles north of finish town. We are using PBVentures Charter services…How many in your party and when are you heading out? Have you RAGBRAI’d before?
My wife and I are driving Fri/Sat to Council Bluffs direct with probably a stop in Chi-town for some deep dish pizza. If we are going to be in heart-attack land, we might as well enjoy it. The plan is to be back in the land of free and universal health care before my arteries fully clog up anyway. We plan to do the ride the way John Candy would have wanted to do it : Johnny LaRue style!
