Does it seem they will follow the same route to Harlan as XXVII? it was also 56.8 miles that day

I remember Harlan from four or five years ago. Camping outside a Lutheran church, about 2 am the police came by and yelled at us (on car loudspeakers) to seek shelter from approaching tornado. Certainly got my attention although it did not hit Harlan.

Better add a couple more towns to that list. This years route Day1 is 83 miles, longest day and i would think they will add the loop this day.

Yep. Sorry was thinking the first day was the 83 miler, Loop will be out around Prarie Rose lake again i am betting. That was a pretty easy loop. Remember going through Silver City on the Harlan day didn’t we? Will be plenty of hills any way we go the first day.
