  • Tony said: No riding and no trainer. I tripped over the curb and smacked my knee falling to the sidewalk. Have a big goose egg on it.  Hurts to bend it. I wish I could say I tripped over a curb dweller, but I can’t. Just my lousy lack of depth perception.

Now if you used Linux you wouldn’t have to worry about all that virus and spy wear junk. Power to the penguin! I love Ubuntu!

Tony, by now I’m sure you agree with me that it’s better to sit on a Kurb than to trip over one!!!!!

I would rather trip over a case of beer.

  • BB, from tj about those tags.

<FONT face=Calibri>We have been looking into a plug-in that could clean up spam tags… not that easy with the word press system, but we are working on it.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” /><o:p></o:p></FONT>

  • 12 miles on the mountain bike, over rocks, between big rocks, sliding on sandy turns, dodging barrel cacti and other sharp bushes, most of the time, bleeding shins, and I was in the easy group.

Well done CR.  Ya got me by a little more than 2K.  You have some significant hills in your part of country too.  I do my best to avoid hill country.  All my counters are reset to zero in less than three weeks and I start over again.

    RIDE RIGHT

Sorry about the late reply. But, yes it is better to sit with the curb dwellers. My knee is much better. I’ve been spinning. Actually it feels good to be on the bike. Even in the basement.

  • 8 degrees outside this morning. Snow on the ground with more on the way. Time to switch to the studded tires (or stay close to the fire).

  • Weather isn’t so bad here in southeast Iowa, 32 degrees yesterday. Put in 17 miles at the gym with an iron fortified workout.

    Life is good….

  • I got a 31 mile ride in today, about half of it on the IC/Coralville trail system, and the rest on Sand Road.  The temps were not to bad peaking about 44F,  the sun even came out for a little while.  That takes me to 1820 miles for the year. Not bad for me since I was unable to ride in June or July because of back problems.

I agree  with UK Bent… Life IS good!

  • 30 miles, started with the sun shining then to grey clouds and finished in the rain. Any ride outside is a good one just some are better then others
