RAGBRAI XVI (1988) ended up the week with Des Moines, Oskaloosa, Fairfield and Ft. Madison. When the final route for RAGBRAI XLI comes out, it would be interesting to compare the two routes.

and went through Knoxville 44.5 miles into day 5 then another 28 to osky.So they added another 20 to that last half.

Wasn’t that Thursday from Osky to Fairfield named Saggy Thursday because it was so windy you had to peddle downhill, and tons or riders sagged in that day? I remember being exhausted.

Tama to Sigourney in 95 was Saggy thursday, almost straigh soutn most of the day into the wind.

Oh yeah, opps, it would have been Friday Osky to Fairfield, not Thursday…..
