I guess I should just be thankful that the forums are up and working, but there is one change I’d like to see. I think it would be really cool to see where everyone is from! At this point however I’d be afraid that any alterations would leave us without the forums for days, again. So with that in mind, where is everyone from?

I hail from the town of Tunbridge, in northeastern Vermont. I work for a Burlington, Vermont based bicycling advocacy non-profit. During the summer months I split my time between my homestead (the house is named Gypsy Rose) on a Tunbridge mountainside and my sailing sloop (Raven) on Lake Champlain (Vermont’s “west coast”).
My first ride across Iowa was on RAGBRAI VIII (1980), then again in 1981 (still just a young pup). I took a few years off, but eventually returned to RAGBRAI in 2011 and 2012, reconnecting with a long-lost RAGBRAI friend and Team Roadshow (self-described as the poorest team on RAGBRAI – mostly a varied band of jugglers and uni-cyclists and oldsters like me from all over the country).
Looking forward to making the trek again in 2013!
