Coconut crème from Patrick’s Restaurant in Adel, Iowa; key lime pie from J.J. Gandy’s in Palm Harbor, Florida and strawberry rhubarb from the Jubilee Cafe at the Kickapoo, Illinois exit off I 74. We know Pi.

RAGBRAI 2007, I had the best piece of Butterscotch Meringue pie ever!!! The woman at the pie stand in one of the pass-through towns pulled it out of her cooler. I can still taste that pie, wonderful!!!!!

Zinger, I would love to bring a J.J. Gandy Key Lime pie back to you. However; I just know that pie would not make it back even as far as Atlanta. Spoilage, shrinkage and other perils of transportation would take their toll.

ST, my BFF lives in Ocala and I fly in to St Pete whenever I visit her. Looks like Palm Harbor would be just a short detour on my way to her house. I’m sure I could convince her to eat some too!!

Cherry a la mode. My strange fact is I bought my first piece of pie last year. All the other pieces I’ve eaten over the year’s were bought for me.
