Sandaltan: Right Jake d, that animal in the avatar looks like a Brown Swiss on steroids. Somebody should notify the USADA so that they can investigate when they are done wasting their time with Lance Armstrong. BEEFALOGATE!!!RIDE RIGHT
Now that you mention it ST, it seems rather convenient that the picture was cropped as to not show the back of the bike.
If your theory is correct, it is quite possible that the animal has been fitted with a prosthetic, and they are actually riding a tandem.

I would not take this matter lightly. If these allegations prove to be true, we may have uncovered a serious doping scandal involving a fellow rider.
I think that certainly qualifies as the Ugly side of RAGBRAI.

Sandaltan- listening to a veteran BRAG rider tell other riders of his one RAGBRAI ride: “I will never ride RAGBRAI again, you have to pay for your own food and there are no free rest stops with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
They seem to miss the part where they paid an extra $150 to BRAG to get those free PBJ’s. They still get Mama Raphael’s for the people who miss that place.

Exactly SFC!!! When the Little Stoker and I overheard that comment we just looked at each other and smiled and then she pointed out to me the monetary difference between RAGBRAI and BRAG that year which was considerable. Plus, the food on BRAG that year was not very good. A good ride for sure and many ride BRAG year after year but for us it was “one and done”. Take care SFC.
