  • I think what I enjoyed most about last year was the large number of towns we went through every day. Seldom did we go more than 10 or 15 miles withhout another town to explore. The short ride by itself doesnt bother me a bit – it even excites me to know many days will allow lots of free time.

But i am curious as to how many stops we are going to have on all days other than the 83 into DM.

Any prognosticators out there have a crystal ball as to which cities we are likely to pass through?

    What say you?

  • TJ mentioned 40 pass through towns once and 35-40 another time at the ride right meeting. the word “scenic” was also thrown out. For us anyway scenic = hilly (or up on ridges, but ya gotta get up there somehow).
Day 2 might be sparse on towns, trying to figure that one out, few roads & towns. Maybe Jacksonville, Kimballton, Hamlin, Coon Rapids, Cooper & Rippey?

  • I remember last time we rode to Beebeetown. It is not a fond memory. Think “up, up, up, up…” You get the idea.
