I can see how a day or two every decade would have such a major effect on your pathetic life. I also like the avatar. You must be dreaming. I’m sure a bunch of sweaty fat guys think your the king though.
Sounds like just one more self-centered arschloch to me. However, as my folks used to say, it takes all kinds to make up a world.

Yeah, this guy is a wee bit angry isn’t he? Obviously his mother didn’t give him enough attention as a child.
Okay, here is a question. In response to one of his “comments” How many of us cyclist don’t stop at stop signs or stop lights while we’re out on rides?
It seems to be a rallying cry for the haters out there against cyclists. I’ve seen it while out on rides, and in my car. I’ve lived in college towns my entire life, and I’ve seen college kids blast through signs, I’ve been on rides where the majority are riding Campagnolo Record do it, I’ve seen homeless guys with basketfulls of empties doing it, and hipsters on fixies doing the same.
It bugs me to no end, and some don’t care when you call them out on it.
We have a little village west of Madison where the locals got so fed up with cyclists “clogging up” their roads and not stopping for stop signs they banned organized rides from going through for while. Last year at the Horribly Hilly Hundreds they actually had a cop at an interstection yelling at us as we came up to the sign. She was yelling at us to stop or get a ticket. Of course we stopped. I would have anyway.
My rant is over for now.
That one and only commenter to the story was probably weened way too early and that has made hostile to the rest of the world.
RIDE RIGHT
But of course, “rolling stops” in a car are OK, and I’ll bet a cookie that when it comes to the “right turn on red” rule he works that one like a rusty lugnut.

Ya think this guy’s daily exercise is getting his As.s off the couch, walking to his 1989 Buick Electra, drivong to the gas station, to get his pack of Camels and a lottery ticket?
Having once been one of those cyclists that did not follow many rules, let alone the “Ride Right” mentality, I know I was probably an “insert expletive deleted” from time to time. Blew a stop sign or red light here and there, switched lanes without signaling, no turn signals, jumped curbs. However organized rides and RAGBrAI have taught me the majority of the errors in my ways. so e ents like ours teach alot of people respect and awareness. But it only takes one bad seed. So I digress.
That being said, this guy has a couple of screws up in his head loose. I agree with SFC, it’s on or two days of mild inconvenience to this clown, not the rest of his life. Not to mention that added economic boost that RAGBRAi does bring with it.
Now this idea of how the rules of the road work is mind boggling when put in that fools perspective. Is he assu
Ing that I should get off the road and out of his way so he can drive by? The rules are clear as long as you are not on a road with a posted minimum speed limit. Ride to the right, they pass on the left. I have spoken to several officers of the law about this in several states( bike friendly states) and they agreed. Besides I would break myself if I tried to get off the road everytime some jance with a lead foot wanted to get by, what with the craters we here in the US call shoulders.
Last point, I know for a fact, mostly because it was brought up here before, that several states are attempting to pass legislature that allows cyclists and motorcyclists to legally rife through red lights. Now of course this after coming to a complete stop first, and possibly waiting an arbitrary amount of time, but still.
In my opinion, and apparently I have alot Of them judging from this diatribe of a post, motorists are more dangerous even in the know than cyclists. Home boy just needs a chill pill and his daily dose of stale beer and a carton of pall malls ( camel is to good for this
guy). Maybe lay off the roids too…
I thought his diatribe about cyclist/RAGBRAI was pretty mild – no new information there. I’m more offended by his avatar. I have a feeling that were we to meet in person, I’d have to kick his fat butt with my strong as iron from biking leg!!
