Beatles — Long and Winding Road.
There have also been several songs composed specifically about RAGBRAI over the past 40 years; I immediately think of a traveling banjo/guitar player I first heard on RAGBRAI VII in Spencer IA during the infamous Spencer Flood. There is also a commercial singer who was selling a cassette tape when we passed through Shenandoah — I think it was 1988 or 1989. Can’t lay my hands on the tape right now, but it had a couple of bicycle-specific songs on it. One was entitled “Going on RAGBRAI” (which would make a good theme song for some team or another); another was a comical piece about how “I Lost My Wife to the Wabash Trace”. A third mentioned a local-origin radio show on KMA radio. I’ll check back over my cassette collection and see if I can come up with the performer.
There’s got to be others, of course. I couldn’t possibly have heard them all.

I did the same thing after RAGBRAI XXX. The pictures started with Sniff ‘n’ the Tears “Driver’s Seat” showing a lot of pictures of packing, the drive out, and activities on the way to the start. The last section (last day and tire dip) closed with Moutain “Mississippi Queen”.

Don’t think I’ve heard that one. But here’s a link to a video of the first one I was talking about — the one I heard while we taking shelter in a school bus barn after the campground flooded out at the Spencer fairgrounds back in 1979 — so this guy’s been at it for a while!
