The RAGBRAI Route Announcement Party was a fundraiser for the Iowa Bicycle Coalition and the RAGBRAI Dream Team. $9,955 was raised for the Iowa Bicycle Coalition through the silent auction, live auction and raffle. The Dream Team raised $1,690 from the silent auction.

Last year, Julie Strahl of West Chicago, Illinois submitted her entry and guessed all eight overnight towns correctly to win the Guess the Route contest. This year, no one came close to getting them all right!

The overnight towns for the 2010 RAGBRAI were announced. As you probably have heard by now, it’s being touted as one of the shortest and flattest RAGBRAI’s in history. So this means you don’t have to train, or at least train as much as last year, right? Think again.
