Don’t forget to stop at The Other Place in Clear Lake. It is right on the bike route. They will have many food specials and activities going on. There is a big yellow outdoor tent and plenty of bike space just waiting for you.

I am VERY impressed! I mailed my group’s waivers on Monday at 5:00 pm and had email confirmation that RAGBRAI had processed them by Wednesday afternoon! Fast service by both the US Postal Service and the folks at RAGBRAI. My team of 9 first-timers are really looking forward to the lottery results!

@Angela – I do spin a few times per week. The spin bike usually shows 23-27 miles for the hour.

You can also go out to Colorado for some high altitude training. We just raced on a groomed snow trail around beautiful Leadville, CO. Think it over.
