Riders had no problems pronouncing Quimby, a town RAGBRAI visited earlier this week, but the Buchanan County town of Quasqueton wasn’t so easy. More than 1,100 rain-drenched RAGBRAI riders sought shelter in a steamy Quonset hut in Gilbertville, where the Pocahontas-based caterers Chris Cakes served pancakes to the masses. Chef Tim Cook flipped them high – and some of the riders actually caught them. Others, not so much. – Michael Morain
