I’m sure many on here will suggest the Brooks B17 or even the Selle Anatomica. The nice thing about the leather saddle is it will form to you as you ride it, but it starts out very stiff so there is a break in period. But you don’t have to put on too many miles before you start noticing it begin to soften. The bad thing about leather is that you will have to protect it from water. I am very intrigued by the Brooks Cambium C17. It is made from vulcanized rubber and a cotton layer on top. This saddle is waterproof and reviews have been favorable on comfort, some saying it offers the same comfort right out of the box as the B17 with a few hundred miles on it. The Cambium C17 is also more in line with my tastes aesthetically. The B17, C17, and the Selle are all slightly over $100. If you are looking more for the big name production saddles then it will most likely just be trial and error to find the one that suits you best.
