I think Pork Belly Charter would be your best bet, look for the Trumpet Chick in Central Park she can tell you all about the charter. As far as bicycle related gear and service Dannys Cycles is a great store in the NYC, Westchester & lower CT area. If you drive Sandusky OH is about 1/2 way to Iowa and has some nice hotels/motels.
