I had never thought about the rooster tail you mentioned. Due to living here in Las Vegas, I don’t ride in the rain very much. When I do get stuck in the rain, rear tire spray is blocked to me by my recumbent seat and tail bag. I never considered the spray hindering those behind me. I will keep that in mind if I am in the rain around others and allow more space when passing. Thanks for pointing this out.
