Cheap way to secure your bike at night is to bring a 4′ length of clothes line. Put a loop in each end, loop that trough the rear wheel or the frame and secure the 2 loops to one of your tent stakes. Gives the thief just enough line to bring him to a sudden stop when trying to run away with your bike in the night.
