Nice intro SSC1 – good luck with re entry! I have just clocked 500 training miles since the year turned. Now I start from scratch because I know it counts for nothing unless I carry on. The weather here can’t make it’s mind up, yesterday we rode in sunshine and today we had rain and sleet. I took the opportunity to put my bike into a LBS which is not too local. The aluminium frame sounded like it had a tortured mouse nesting in it on the uphills – he diagnosed a need for new wheels – I hope he knows his stuff ( I already suspect he does). Yesterday I had a good ride with the friend who will join me on RAGBRAI the fun has started. Long may it continue!
