I camped with Padre’s last year. This is really not a team but rather a charter service. We ride at our pace but get togther each afternoon under the canopies and enjoy drinks and snacks. The advantage to going with a charter service is that they handle all the logistics including baggage, tent setup, a mattress, towel and chair and morning coffee. They also provide a way to charge phones. There is also a charter bus that you can take from Missouri to the start and home at the end.
There also more true teams that ride and party together. However you go, you will have fun.
