I have been using Schwalbe for many years, had a couple that were not round and had a couple that developed huge cracks in the sidewall. The cracked sidewall tires were exchanged by the dealer after I paid postage and one of the “not round” tires was exchanged me also paying postage. The little Stoker is running the other not round and is not complaining too much. I am running a 700/28 Panaracer and am extremely happy with that choice. Durability is my first concern, speed and weight are way down the list. I am not going to be happy whizzing downhill at 40 or so mph with featherweight tires. I continue to swear by my Schwalbe tubes, yeah expensive, but they fit my 28mm tires and fit my 35mm tires when I go off the pavement. Plus, I can ride eight or ten days without them losing any noticeable amount of pressure.
