More local entertainment.The ride is supposed to be promoting Iowa, and it’s a fact that Iowa has talent too.Big-name bands are nice, but do we really need them?

Although if Jimmy Buffett would happen to drop in and play for a hour or two, I will be glad to consider him an honorary Iowan…..

I’ve thought this for years! Here in Atlantic, there are several VERY good bands but we paid over $8000 for the NADAs. Apparently the RAGBRAI people themselves pushed that according to the chamber of commerce people.
