I don’t know where next year will go, but unlike you, I am wishing for a southern route with a few hills.
The northern routes are too flat and that invites more people to jump on and ride a few days as bandits.
My tea leaves keep saying Hawarden and Denison.

i was born in hawarden and my family still lives there. pretty sure the city could use it but don’t think i’ll be that lucky.
