Last year prior to the start of RAGBRAI didnt they announce the average age of those registered? Anyway just wondering what it is this year or was last year.

Just guessing – probably late 40’s
I can’t find where I saw it but for men it is 49.2. The only reason I remember is my husband will be riding and he is 49.15!!

im only 20, first time riding ragbrai and doing it solo, should be interesting
I skew the average a bit…actually, quite a bit. I’m 75 and still alive. Hope I can make it across again this year.
My average age is only 26.5 so I guess I’m a youngster. :-)
Knees, Looks like the Woodbine contingent is the Senior Ragbraiers. I am 55 but don’t let that slow me down, Yet! Got the panniers loaded and they ring up at 68 pounds( that is Bike & panniers).
Ragbrai’s 4,5,19,20,21,36,37,38 and now 39th at 52 I’m still living the dream……..can’t wait for next week, my son who is 25 is making this his first Ragbrai. See everyone next week!

RAGBRAI #7 and first one on MEDICARE. That should raise the average.
Ride #10 for me and my social security check will come during the ride
