Because sooner or later that keg is gonna go empty and then you’ll need to get another one.

Hy-Vee had ‘Point’ brews on sale last week. First time I’ve had anything from that brewery … good stuff!

We got a snow day here just like the rest of the Midwest.  It’s a great beer drinking excuse.  Only problem is the curbs, they’re covered with ice & snow!

Good root beer also.  Not as good as Sprecher’s out of Milwaukee of course.

Our local HyVee has begun to stock Mad House Beer brewed with 100 percent Iowa hops in Newton.   Have not tried it yet, got some Leine Fireside Nut Brown to work through first.  Good stuff that FNB!

Mich, did you sculpt that snow by yourself or did Bud L. help you???   It conveys my feelings also.

pHIIo, they must be growing the hops between rows of our world famous #2 corn and soybeans.  Of course I would not know a hop from a hip unless there was a bunny involved.  Which takes me back to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin….only good memories of my times in Wisconsin.

Dang, Miss Cellania, that is some good stuff.  Can they rig that to fill my full-face helmet?  That would be the bomb.

What keeps the beer from leaking out the bottom of the cup?

It looks like there is a red rubber or plastic seal at the bottom of the cup.  I would imagine it fills similarly to the way you fill a football with air.  A needle penetrates the seal and fills the cup from the bottom up.  I guess it gives new meaning to the term “Bottoms Up”.
