All the church meals we had during the week were great.
The root beer floats at Beekman’s are tough to beat on a hot afternoon.

The unlimited breakfast at the church in West Branch. Best $5 I spent all week.
Dragon Wagon in Grinnell. BBQ Beef, Corn on the cob, applesauce, cole slaw.
Can’t believe no one has mentioned the Armadillo Eggs in Brooklyn!
the rhubarb pie that got the blue ribbon.
BEST EVER rhubarb pie …can’t remember where it was. Anyone else remember? They had signs for miles ahead of time coming into the town about the blue ribbon rhubarb pie.
Bee farms…apple crisp, ice cream and honey lemonade. A fast stop at the base of a downhill and worth the brake pad wear.
Loved Carbo Hut. Real food. Vegan options. Nice people.
Never go wrong wheeling up to Casey’s for some tasty Za….
