Registration deadline extended to April 15 for weeklong rider, weeklong non-rider, and vehicles passes!

Crystal Ball

I know no one actually has a crystal ball that tells the future, but what if you did? Will we be able to do RAGBRAI in 2021? Will Iowa’s Ride take place? What is everyone’s opinion? No one really knows and the answers are just opinions based on nothing. No facts allowed. Tell me what your crystal ball says!

It would have been great if we would have had T. Gap Woo for entertainment when we were in Storm Lake in the parking lot having refreshments.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! As I posted on this forum earlier, I don’t do public performances because I am allergic to rotten tomatoes.

However, I’d be willing to crack a joke, along with cracking a beer, at a pass-through town along the route. Just meet me at the first bar on the left, unless it’s on the right.

See you along the I-O-Way in 2021.

How about the first soda fountain? I am a specialist at finding them in time for my team to meet for Root Beer Floats at 4:00. Almost every town that we overnight at has one. Sigourney was an exception. Get the floats, take a shower, go out to eat, and then either lounge around or go to the entertainment. Great plan for any night on RAGBRAI. At 135 pounds, I don’t hit the beer very hard. One or maybe two an evening.

How does this sound? Let’s start a movement to encourage a vendor to set up a soda pop stand at the same location as Beekmans ice cream and the Amish pie ladies. Then, we can have root beer floats to wash down some great pies along the way!! ?

See you along the I-O-Way in 2021.

Just FYI, Beekman’s sells rootbeer. I’ve quenched many a thirst with root beer floats at Beekman’s.
But the addition of the Amish, or Kelly’s Berry Best pie, sounds like a winning combination!

I like Farms Boys (kids) because it’s the only place I can get a Diet Coke on Ragbrai without going into a building.

Just wondering if everyone else who registered last year got the email survey from Iowa’s Ride last Saturday titled “Quick Survey from Iowa’s Ride” “Iowa’s Ride <fun@iowasride.com> Sat 3/6/2021 5:50 PM”.

I got the survey on Iowa’s Ride as I had registered for that ride as well as RAGBRAI.
A short simple survey.
