65 seems a little long for the last day, the pass through towns last day don’t seem to set up much beacause a lot of people don’t stop trying to get in early, the places that do have loong lines.

Park you car at the end town, (Davenport) that way you don’t have to hurry. Your transportation is waiting for you.
I thought the last day was fun last year.
All the costumes make it a good day to carry a camera.
yep, we usually meet at 12, ride to the river at 1, load busses at 3 and pull out at 4. Then after stopping to eat we can still get back and get the trucks unloaded before dark. Hope with it being Davenport and a longer daywe can push those up an hour. It’s all I-80 & I-35 home.
More riders should plan to do this! There’s a LOT to do in and around downtown Davenport on July 30 (Farmers’ Market, Street Fest, and River Bandits baseball just to name a few)… all easily-accessible from the dip site(s), plenty of options for lodging (I just created a Couch Surfing group!… so check it often as it populates with available couches), and if Mother Nature plays nice, we’ll also have an abundance of riverfront camping on tap. Plenty of reasons not to rush home.
Going to be spending the Sat. night in Dport also, will be back in the saddle the next morning heading back to Woodbine. Plan on doing some long days to get back to spend some time with the family before heading home to Colorado.
