I heard about RAGBRAI when I was in law school and it sounded like an awesome time. After seeing the route, I decided that this year is the year, but it seems like a pretty daunting task to take on alone.
Wondering if there are any Omaha teams out there looking for another member? I’m a 27 y/o M. I’m interested in camping in most, if not all, of the overnight towns. I’m laid back but like to plan ahead, and definitely looking forward to meeting new people.
-PS – Any Iowa Law alums out there?

Josh you may want to look into some of the charters. https://ragbrai.com/about/charter-services/ Some have Western Iowa origination points. Most people suggest first time riders go with a charter because they set the expectation and follow through. With teams you don’t know what you are going to get. Some are on the ride to party some not; some are well organized some are not.
I run the Bikes To You Charter and would be happy to serve you or talk about the logistics of RAGBRAI. Check out our charter options at http://bikestoyou.com/ragbrai-charters/ When you are deciding on a charters what you want to look for is what services do you want and where do you want to start and end your trip. Feel free to contact me or any of the charter services and ask about how we can best serve you.
Josh, unless you like to get up at 6AM to pack your stuff up for the charter service…I recommend not using a charter and highly suggest staying off the route until after 9AM. Due to the mass exodus of charter groups from the overnight towns it is very congested and thats where the bad accidents happen! We have a great team from Omaha sponsored by the Dubliner Pub. We are self supported with an RV (two showers and a toilet) and everyone staying in tents uses power from the generator to run a fan! It is by far the cheapest way to go on RAGBRAI (unless you bag it) Respond back if you have any questions. Rick
Rick for Omaha,
Could you email me at rick5200@hotmail.com about joining your team?
Rick – I am looking for a ride from Davenport back to Omaha and have a friend who is looking for a ride back from Fort Dodge or Eldora. Can your team help us or have any suggestions? Not wild about the charters… Thanks! Linda
Linda,
I tried to send a private message but the server may be down…
Let me know if you received it.

Rick – I didn’t get a message and got an error code when I tried to send a private message to you too. Does Team Dubliner email go to you? – Linda

Hi, Rick I’m looking for a Omaha or Lincoln area team to ride with. I like to have fun and drink a few, but not to the point of not making the ride the next day. This will be my 4th RAGBRAI, age 40, and I generally have a moderate pace.
let me know if you have room for one more or know of another area team.
Thanks,
Randy
