Here We Go Again

All RAGBRAI Riders,

Are everybody ready for new ride in 2020? New planning, new routes, new ride, and many new people as well.

Who is ready for the challenge? Guess this year route and cities and share!!!

I will only venture an opinion that Dubuque will be the ending town. Mainly because they usually have an 8 to 10 year cycle for hosting. Ragbrai was due for a north route. The size of the Iowa’s Ride would not preclude Dubuque. It would actually work out well for the folks handling long term parking. Beyond Dubuque, anything is possible for north route options except that one county near Schleswig which will not cooperate with Ragbrai after the 2004 fatal bike crash and law suits.

Are you referring to Crawford County, where RAGBRAI overnighted in 2018?

I would have to look up the news story for specifics. If it was Crawford, then it is a non issue.

All,

The route set for RAGBRAI 2021, seems nice and pretty starting almost from north and coming to middle of Iowa. Who can tell their experience about the overnight towns?

Thanks
