Hey all – I’ve got quite a few requests for instructions on how to post to the forums. So I thought I would post it here in case it can help someone.
To post to the forum you’ll need to log in to your RAGBRAI.com account. To do this, please navigate to RAGBRAI.com/my-account.
So you log in, and head here to RAGBRAI.com/forums. Then you’ll want to click on the Category you want to post in – look on the right hand side of the page under the Charter Services picture. I’m guessing you’ll want RAGBRAI L – 2023. Then it will take you to a new page. Scroll to the bottom of THAT page and you’ll see a text box where you can create your post. Don’t worry this post will also show up on the main Forums home page as well as in the category.
That should be it! Please let me know if you have questions about any of the above 😊
I will add buy/sell wristband transfer topics after June 1 when wristband numbers have been assigned. You are welcome to buy/sell your wristbands at any time, but that will be when we open the transfer form and forum category.
Thank you,
AP

Hello Joe, I replied on your other post as well. I am interested in purchasing both. Please let me know next steps. Thanks!
Weeklong pass for sale …best offer, willing to discount, for a good story why you want to go to RAGBRAI
Andrea, speaking of how to post properly, would you please pass word along to the towns and RAGBRAI main that large files like PDF’s shouldn’t be sent in emails?
Lansing just sent me an enormous 3 MB email that crashed all my email. I’ll have to delete it all in order to be able to use my account again. Until I can do so, any more emails sent to me will simply disappear — not good!
Instead, big files should be posted on a webpage, and only the URL link then emailed, for us to go download the files from the site.
That would be more efficient at your end, too. Sending tens of thousands of huge emails is a big strain on your email system, too.
Thank you!
I have a week long pass available for sale. $100. Jim 815-529-7227

Thank you for the note Helen! I will pass this along. Sorry about your inbox!!
Andrea – yesterday I saw a post describing how to properly transfer a registered pass from a seller to a buyer.
I am selling my pass. Can you direct me to that again? Thanks!
Sure! Let me just copy and paste the info:
To transfer the registration in EnMotive follow the steps below.
The seller goes to https://enmotive.com/users/login
Clicks login in the upper right-hand corner
Click “registrations” and find your registration tile in Upcoming Events
Click the 3 dots in the upper corner of your registration tile and select “Transfer registration”
Type in the buyer’s email address
An email will be sent to the buyer’s email (check your junk too)
The buyer has 48 hours to go through the transfer link, if it expires the seller we have to follow the steps above to resend the transfer link
The buyer clicks the transfer link to accept the transfer offer and then follows the steps of registration.
Once the buyer completes the transfer no further action is needed by either the seller or the buyer.
Transferred wristband numbers will be uploaded to the buyer’s registration daily at 2 pm CST. Follow the steps below for accessing your wristband number in the system.
Hi Andrea, I want to purchase a 1 day (Wed) pass on Tues evening in Emmetsburg. Does Ragbrai have a trailer or admin tent set up for this transaction and where will they locate in Emmetsburg? Thanks!
DNik1, RAGBRAI registration is closed. Before the event starts, you’ll have to find some individual who’s selling a pass, and arrange to buy it from them. Then that person will need to enter the transfer in the online Enmotive system in order for it to be valid; you’ll get an email acknowledgement.
So, read this thread, and look for information on the RAGBRAI home page.
Look here, DNik1:

Have two week long passes for sale. Let me know if you are interested. Best offer. Mark msillm@msn.com
Thank you!
Hey DNik1 – in addition to what was said above, we also sell day passes in our merchandise trailers. They will be located downtown at the Expo in Emmetsburg. I don’t have an exact location but if you head downtown toward the Lake, you won’t be able to miss it. Our merchandise trailers are large and blue. They’ll be open from noon to 10pm. Thanks!
Thanks, Andrea for the correction/clarification about day passes versus weeklong passes.
Also, are we ever going to get the long promised (and paid for) Participant Guide?
And what about a basic route map that lists the road names and which way to turn? The overview graphic version is difficult to read, and lacks a lot of that info. The interactive satellite, etc., maps are apt to be nearly useless, too, if we can’t get a cell tower connection. A downloadable plain text file would be lovely to download onto a smart phone. And what about downloadable town maps, too?
Where are the day-by-day elevation graphs? I can’t seem to find them any more, and I need them for my planning.
Thank you!
I have been looking for those daily elevation maps also. They have gone missing from the website.

Could this be the latest and final uttering of maps and info? Despite the 27 March date of course.
