Iowa’s Ride made this dream possible, but that’s out the window. Anyone doing a “warm up” by retracing (roughly) the east to west route the week before RAGBRAI to get to Le Mars? If I do this solo, will I see any riders doing the same?

I had planned to do the double cross, but now I’ll just be content to bikepack up to Le Mars solo. I’ve done RAGBRAI many years this way and have found that my solo ride to the start and back home to north Missouri from the finish of RAGBRAI to always be quite rewarding. If no one is interested in doing the old planned Iowa’s Ride with you don’t hesitate to do it solo. I think you’ll find it a very enjoyable ride.
