Has anyone received notification that you’re “in”. In past years I think I remember getting an email early on May 1st with confirmation. I haven’t seen it this year.
I guess the information says they’ll “start communicating” on May 1st. In the past it was more of a “big bang” where everyone heard on the 1st, so it does appear the process is different this year. Probably shouldn’t be surprised given the new registration system.
RAGBRAI posted this on Facebook this morning. I don’t think there is any reason to be concerned if you haven’t gotten the email yet.
It’s wristband lottery week, we hope you’re as excited as we are! Emails with lottery results will start rolling out this week – so don’t worry if you don’t see a wristband number today. We’re dotting our I’s and crossing our T’s to get it right with the new system.
For what it’s worth, on March 30th Andrea answered my e-mail inquiry regarding registration numbers and the chance of getting in. Here’s what she said: “Registration numbers are pretty strong this year but your chances of being selected in the lottery are very good.”
I’m taking that as a glass half full answer.

I haven’t heard anything either. I see on the enmotive site that I’m registered, but you can be registered & not be selected in the lottery, right? I thought that if we rolled over our registrations from last year, we were guaranteed a spot? Do I remember that wrong?
I’ve not heard which is odd. normally you hear on the first. the frustrating because today opened the long-term parking opened but you can only register once you have the wristband #.
If anyone gets shut out, my team and I are unable to do the ride this year, so we will have a few weeklong passes available for sale, along with an RV pass!
Shari, If I don’t get in through the lottery this week, I would like to buy on week long pass. I grew up in the Waterloo area where they are spending one of the nights this year, so I’m really hoping to be able to do it. I’ll report back here if I get in or need to purchase one of your passes. Thank you! Jim

I have not heard anything yet, either. Thought it was kind of strange.
I hope it’s not bad news. Starting to get concerned.

Our first year registering so not sure what to expect. Staying hopeful

Rollover registrants were promised immunity in the lottery. I can’t imagine they would break that promise.

Shari, I am nervous and might take you up on that registration offer. I need to get weeklong passes for 3 people for the week.
Ok, Harris (or is it Luther? I’m sorry can’t tell from the way it’s printed!) I will let my team know. When do you think you might know for sure?
I agree but I never trust a new system. I want to see my number

Shari, that is supposed to say “one week long pass” not on. I’ll let you know.
