I registered with a team, at least I thought I did, but no lottery #. What gives?
Your right you have not been assigned a number. It can take some time to get the email. If you know any body on your team that posts to the forum. You can click on their user name on a post to see if they have a lottery #.
Where/how are the lottery results listed on the website?
Didn’t know they were posted on the web site. My notification came as an e-mail.
Found it! Look under your profile. Your wristband number is there.
No e-mail, but my wristband number was listed in my profile.
My email went to my Spam Folder. Might want to check there.
Check with your team leader/group contact for your wristband number.
Your on-line profile is not attached to a team (group) and therefore RAGBRAI does not yet know you as a lottery applicant.
My wife got her email this afternoon but I still haven’t got one yet. My number comes before hers…
If any group leaders (team contacts) need help confirming that a member got a wristband on the new system here is what you can do. In the upper right corner of the RAGBRAI web page click on My RAGBRAI and then select My Group. On the group page that opens there will be a button labeled Members on the left side of the page, click that. Another page will open with a list of all the group members. In the section for each member is a button labeled Details. Click on that and you can see a report that includes the wristband number for each member. Now in theory if anyone gets a number then everyone gets a number but even computers make mistakes so I would suppose there could be an exception. I just checked and my group is all in.
Barb, you should have your group leader do this to confirm that you really are a group member and they should then also be able to tell you your wristband number. If you did not get one, don’t panic. People will be selling them because they cannot come and I hear that you often get a discount from individual sellers. I hope not but someone from my team may have to sell his and there will be plenty of bands available from others who find out that they cannot come. If you do need to buy a wristband from an individual seller make sure that you and they fill out the forms to transfer the band to you officially and then it will be just as if you won the lottery.
Registration fees will become nonrefundable after May 15. To request a refund, contact the RAGBRAI office at firstname.lastname@example.org by May 15. A $25 processing fee per applicant is deducted for refunds.
I’m glad this thread exists. Mine went into my spam folder. But I’m in and that makes me happy.
