Lower Back Pain Tip

To prevent lower back pain, pedal in the standing up position every 10-15 minutes for at least a minute. It is important to not just stand up but to pedal as well when standing up on the pedals. This will help out, especially on the long rides.

Between now and RAGBRAI it would also be a good idea to strengthen your core.

And, standing will relieve poor circulation at your saddle, and shift weight off your wrists and hands for a change.
