This is miscellaneous indeed!!
Is there anyway I can loop a you-tube (I only need the audio) to keep playing the same song, whilst I am working on a different page?
Sounds bizarre, I know – but it’s too long of a story to tell you why I need it. xo

NOPE!!!!
Actually, the answer depends. If the new page your working on does not use audio, then running the first page with the audio in the background should work. So just open your favorite browser and in one tab, play the audio you want to listen too and in the second do whatever work you want to do.
Helen I’m assuming you are using Safari as the web browser. Go to the following link at Apple to down load Firefox. This browser will allow you to do what you want.
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/internet_utilities/mozillafirefox.html
You can add it to a play list on youtube all by itself, then tell the playlist to repeat. Downloading firefox will NOT solve this. It’s a web browser, you already have one.
Hellen if you edit the url with the word repeat in it like this http://www.youtuberepeat.com
it works in Internet Explorer it may work in safari too.
Here’s an example

Try it, and if it works You owe me a beer.
I apologize dear I misread your thread. I thought you want multiple pages open. and play audio while looking at another page. You cant loop a clip on you tube. But you can create a playlist or add to que and add the clip multiple times. Right under the clip you will see a button (+ Add to). Select this button to add to que. If you do it multiple times it will play the clip as many times as you select it. Next to this button you can select the down arrow and select add to playlist. To create a playlist you have to have a You Tube account. Once the playlist is created. All you have to do is select it to play it.
