For those experienced PBVers I have a question.
Renting one of the tents that PBV sets up for you, is it big enough for your sleeping space, gear and bike? I see pictures of the PBV camp and there doesn’t seem to be many bikes outside the tents.

Bikes are not allowed to be stored inside a PBV rented tent. Everyone seems to flip their bikes upside down and place in the space between the adjacent tent.
Reason for not allowing bikes in tents is because some folks inevitably get grease inside the tent and – just in case you don’t already know – you are unlikely to get the same tent twice during the week. They remove your bags in the morning from your tent, then remove the name tag on your tent, then disassemble the tent and move it to the next town. They are not pitched in the next overnight campsite in the same order as loaded in the morning.
Although I always use the PBV tent service and really like it, I have found leaves and grass and dirt inside as well as an occasional can or bottle, etc. So, please clean your tent for the next night’s occupant.
I love PBV’s tent service. I’ll never go back to using my own tent!!!
Personally, it’s the “etc” I’d be worried about. ;)
GR – I take some Clorox wipes even if using my own tent to take care of the “etc.”
